Child Care and Development Fund Public Hearing Announcement

The South Carolina Department of Social Services serves as the Lead Agency responsible for the administration of the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF). The Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 2014 requires that each state develop a State Plan to be implemented during a three-year period (FY 2022-2024). The Plan describes how the CCDF program will be administered and must be submitted to the United States Department of Health and Human Services - Administration for Children and Families no later than June 30, 2021.
In addition, the Lead Agency is required to conduct a public hearing prior to submitting the State Plan. The hearing will be held on June 7, 2021 from 3:00PM – 4:30PM.
